Pilots trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 24-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game.Pilots forced 19 Fubon Braves turnovers. Strangely Fubon Braves outrebounded Pilots 57-45 including 17 on the offensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Fubon Braves helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds. International center Chun-Hsiang Lu (190-1997) helped adding 20 points. At the losing side American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 25 rebounds and 6 blocks and the former international forward Mouhamed Mbaye (208-2001, college: Trinity Valley) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
