Cathay Life are 2025 WSBL champions. They outscored Taiyuan Textile in Game 4 of the Finals to conquer the trophy. Taiyuan Textile was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Cathay Life dominated on the defensive end, holding Taiyuan Textile to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian center Cayla George (193-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and the former international point guard Ping Luo (168-1996) who added 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side German center Marie Guelich (194-1994, college: Oregon St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Ching Zhuo (172-1997) scored 7 points. Taiyuan Textile's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
