Fubon Braves topped Pilots to open win count in the Finals. Fubon Braves forced 20 Pilots turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fubon Braves made 7 blocks. The former international forward Mouhamed Mbaye (208-2001, college: Trinity Valley) stepped up and scored 26 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) chipped in 14 points and 17 rebounds. At the losing side American center Alec Brown (216-1992, college: Green Bay) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and Senegalese center Amdy Dieng (207-1998) scored 6 points and 17 rebounds.
