Semi-Finals Game 1: Fubon Braves - Tainan GH 91-79

Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks ' 36 and made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded GhostHawks 57-42 including a 41-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fubon Braves looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by GhostHawks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Jeff Withey (213-1990, college: Kansas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners and his fellow American import guard Jabari Bird (198-1994, college: California) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Nigerian forward Gabriel Humphery (195-1997) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Fubon Braves and five GhostHawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
