The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th rankedSteelers ' (7-25) loss to fifth ranked Fubon Braves (14-17) 69-98 on Sunday. Fubon Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Steelers ' 30. They outrebounded Steelers 52-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. American-Rwandan center Prince Ibeh (208-1994, college: Texas) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Fubon Braves players scored in double figures. Nigerian center Oli Daniel (205-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Yu-Wei Chen (183-1999) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Fubon Braves . Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 14-17 record. Steelers lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games.
