The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placedYulon Luxgen 's (10-11) loss to second ranked Bank of Taiwan (12-9) 86-91 on Saturday. Bank of Taiwan made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian forward Maurice Calloo (208-1999, college: Oregon St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Guard Chia-Wei Chien (188-1998) accounted for 22 points for the winning side. American forward Jordan Tolbert (200-1992, college: SMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 24 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks and the former international point guard Ming-Yi Lin (178-1996) added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for Yulon Luxgen in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bank of Taiwan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-9 record having just two points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Defending champion Yulon Luxgen keeps the third position with 11 games lost.
