Very significant wasAquas ' (#3, 7-6) victory against one of their biggest challengers GhostHawks (3-8) 120-111 . It was a great shooting night for Kaohsiung A. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Tainan was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by the former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) supported him with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Four Aquas players scored in double figures. Even 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals by American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) did not help to save the game for Tainan . Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984, agency: BIG) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for Kaohsiung A. . Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kaohsiung A. maintains third position with 7-6 record having just one point less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Tainan lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with eight games lost.
