Regular Season Round 6: Tainan GH - Kaohsiung A. 89-98

The most important game in the last round was the one between third rankedGhostHawks (3-6) and fourth ranked Aquas GhostHawks were defeated by Aquas in a tough game 89-98 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GhostHawks. Strangely Tainan outrebounded Kaohsiung A. 49-37 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kaohsiung A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) added 12 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Five Kaohsiung A. and four Tainan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kaohsiung A. moved-up to third place. Tainan at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost.
