The game had a very big importance for second-rankedDreamers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Dreamers defeated 6th ranked Steelers in Changhua 96-79 . Dreamers shot 26 for 39 from the free-throw line, while Steelers only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded Steelers 51-40 including 43 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Randall Walko (196-1998, college: TCNJ) who scored 26 points and 5 rebounds. Austrian-Georgian forward Giorgi Bezhanishvili (206-1998, college: Illinois) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Four Dreamers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Tanzanian center Hasheem Thabeet (218-1987, college: UConn) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers (8-1) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Steelers lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost.
