Regular Season Round 28: Changhua - Bank of Taiwan 61-80

An interesting game for Bank of Taiwan (16-12) which played against 4th ranked Changhua (9-19). Second ranked Bank of Taiwan had an easy win 80-61. Bank of Taiwan dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Changhua's 34. Bank of Taiwan forced 30 Changhua turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Changhua was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American Max Mahoney (203-1998, college: Boston U.) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 18 rebounds and point guard Yi-Lun Chen (172-1998) scored 3 points and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains second position with 16-12 record having just two points less than leader Yulon Luxgen. Newly promoted Changhua stay at the bottom place with 19 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will play against Taiwan Beer (#3) in Taipei in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Changhua will play against the league's leader Yulon Luxgen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
