The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Yulon Luxgen (17-9) against fourth ranked Changhua on Saturday night. Changhua were edged by Changhua 73-71. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 21 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Hao-Wei Chiang (175-1998) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-1986, college: UAB) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Min-Hao Ke (180-1992) scored 15 points and 6 assists. Newly promoted Changhua maintains fourth position with 9-17 record. Yulon Luxgen at the other side still keeps top place with nine games lost. Changhua are looking forward to face higher ranked Taiwan Beer (#3) in Taipei in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
