An interesting game for N.Taipei CTBC (23-5) which played against second-best GhostHawks (19-10). First ranked N.Taipei CTBC managed to get a 9-point victory 114-105. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of GhostHawks. N.Taipei CTBC looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a good game for American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) who led his team to a victory with 29 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Mohammad Al Bachir (188-1998) contributed with 30 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) added 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for GhostHawks. Five N.Taipei CTBC and four GhostHawks players scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. N.Taipei CTBC maintains first position with 23-5 record. GhostHawks at the other side keep the second place with ten games lost. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. GhostHawks will play again on the road against the league's leader N.Taipei CTBC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
