Regular Season Round 21: Yulon Luxgen - Changhua 85-71

An exciting game was when First ranked Yulon Luxgen faced 4th placed Changhua. Yulon Luxgen (13-8) defeated Changhua (7-14) 85-71. Yulon Luxgen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Changhua's 26 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Changhua 40-28 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Min-Hao Ke (180-1992) who had a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. The former international Bamba Sarr (200-1997) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) who recorded 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and point guard Hao-Wei Chiang (175-1998) added 11 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yulon Luxgen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-8 record, which they share with Bank of Taiwan. Newly promoted Changhua stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Yulon Luxgen is looking forward to face Taiwan Beer (#3) in Taipei in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Changhua will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
