An interesting game for GhostHawks (16-9) which played against one of their biggest challengers Aquas (14-13). Second ranked GhostHawks had an easy win 108-91. GhostHawks dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Aquas' 28. They outrebounded Aquas 51-40 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. GhostHawks players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Maltese center Samuel Deguara (230-1991) who added 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jordanian-American center John Bohannon (211-1991, college: UTEP) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and American forward Xavier Alexander (196-1988, college: S.Nazarene) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GhostHawks maintains second position with 16-9 record having three points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Defending champion Aquas keep the third place with 13 games lost. GhostHawks will play against Suns (#5) in Taichung in the next round. Aquas will have a break next round.
