Regular Season Round 20: Kings - Fubon Braves 109-111

Leading Kings (13-5) recorded its fifth loss against third ranked Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves were edged by third ranked Fubon Braves (11-9) 111-109. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Michael Singletary (198-1988, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-1989, agency: BIG) who added 20 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) responded with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St., agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Five Fubon Braves and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Fubon Braves have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-9 record having just one point less than leader Pilots. Kings at the other side dropped to the second place with five games lost. Fubon Braves will play against league's leader Pilots in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play at home against Steelers and hope to get back on the winning track.
