Regular Season Round 2: Taichung Suns - Kaohsiung A. 79-99

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Suns against Aquas on Friday night. Aquas were rolled over by Aquas 99-79. Aquas forced 24 Suns turnovers. Strangely Suns outrebounded Aquas 48-36 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Huan-Ya Yu (182-1993) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Panamanian forward Tony Bishop (202-1989, college: Texas St., agency: 011 Sports) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Iranian-British center Aaron Geramipoor (213-1992, college: Seton Hall, agency: BIG) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aquas is looking forward to face TB Herobears on the road in the next round. Suns will have a break next round.
