Aquas dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to TB Herobears' 46 and made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Aquas players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. TB Herobears were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) stepped up and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international Long-Mao Hu (195-1992, college: Chaminade) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Aquas players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international point guard Yu-An Chiang (174-1991) responded with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Diamond Stone (210-1997, college: Maryland) scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
