Regular Season Round 26: TB Herobears - Tainan GH 144-115

There was no surprise when 6th ranked GhostHawks (6-24) were crushed by fourth ranked TB Herobears (16-14) 144-115 on Wednesday. TB Herobears dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks' 42 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded GhostHawks 62-32 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. TB Herobears looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when TB Herobears made 7 blocks. The game was also dominated by American players. Power forward Diamond Stone (210-1997, college: Maryland) had a double-double by scoring 52 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Ronald Delph (213-1993, college: FAU) chipped in 18 points and 20 rebounds during the contest. TB Herobears' coach Chih-hao Yang felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Jordan Chatman (196-1993, college: Boston Coll.) responded with 44 points (!!!) and 4 assists and forward Marcus Gilbert (198-1993, college: Fairfield) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. TB Herobears maintains fourth position with 16-14 record. GhostHawks lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games.
