An exciting game was when Second ranked Taiyuan Textile faced 4th ranked Taipower. Taiyuan Textile (10-5) defeated Taipower (2-13) 87-72. Taiyuan Textile dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Taipower's 38. They outrebounded Taipower 41-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. International center Tieh Lin (182-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Hsiao-Tong Peng (168-1998) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. The former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (173-1991) produced 29 points and 7 rebounds and center Zi-Yu Yang (180-1995) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiyuan Textile have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-5 record having four points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
