Regular Season Round 13: Chunghua T. - Taipower 64-49

An exciting game was when Third ranked Chunghwa Telecom faced 4th placed Taipower. Chunghwa Telecom (4-8) defeated Taipower (2-10) 64-49. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Hui-Ju Liu (163-1996) contributed with 3 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international forward Xi-Ye Liu (173-1991) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and forward Xin-Yu Lai (175-1988) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Taipower. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Chunghwa Telecom maintains third place with 4-8 record having seven points less than leader Cathay Life. Taipower at the other side stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Chunghwa Telecom will play against league's leader Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taipower will play against the league's second-placed Taiyuan Textile and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
