No shocking result in a game when third ranked Suns (12-8) crushed bottom-ranked GhostHawks (4-15) 112-85 on Saturday. Suns dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to GhostHawks' 40. They outrebounded GhostHawks 65-43 including a 46-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by GhostHawks' players. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-1988) notched a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Ching-Huan Chen (190-1986) supported him with 32 points and 7 assists. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by American guard Jordan Chatman (196-1993, college: Boston Coll.) did not help to save the game for GhostHawks. His fellow American import forward Marcus Gilbert (198-1993, college: Fairfield) added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four GhostHawks players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns maintains third position with 12-8 record having five points less than leader Kaohsiung A. GhostHawks lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Suns will meet Leopards (#5) in the next round. GhostHawks will play against the league's leader Aquas and hope to secure a win.
