Not a big story in a game when 3rd ranked Jeoutai (5-9) was defeated by first ranked Taiwan Beer (13-1) 81-68 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer forced 19 Jeoutai turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) who scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Canadian power forward Keanau Post (210-1992, college: Missouri) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-1993, college: Dalton St.) who recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian-American swingman Nicholas Wiggins (198-1991, college: Z*Orangeville A's) added 10 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiwan Beer have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Loser Jeoutai dropped to the fourth place with nine games lost. Taiwan Beer will meet Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
