An exciting game was when Second ranked Taiyuan Textile faced 4th ranked Chunghwa Telecom. Taiyuan Textile (3-1) defeated Chunghwa Telecom (0-4) 84-68. They outrebounded Chunghwa Telecom 36-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. Taiyuan Textile looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international center Wen-Yu Lin (180-95) fired 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International center Tieh Lin (182-99) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Four Taiyuan Textile players scored in double figures. Taiyuan Textile's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Yushu Lin (168-96) produced 26 points and 6 rebounds and guard You-Yiwen Wang (175-96) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Taiyuan Textile have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-1 record behind leader Cathay Life. Chunghwa Telecom at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Taiyuan Textile are looking forward to face league's leader Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chunghwa Telecom will play against Taipower and hopes to get finally their first victory.
