Very important is a loss of Taipower against Taiyuan Textile on Thursday night. Taipower was defeated by Taiyuan Textile in a tough game 50-57. Center Wen-Yu Lin (180-95) nailed 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Ching Cho (172-97) accounted for 9 points. Guard Meng-Xin Chen (163-99) came up with 10 points and forward Xin-Yu Lai (175-88) added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Taipower in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Taiyuan Textile will meet Chunghwa Telecom in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taipower will play again against Taiyuan Textile and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
