Regular Season Round 20: Yulon Luxgen - Bank of Taiwan 82-80

Third-ranked Bank of Taiwan (16-21) was very close to win a game against second ranked Yulon Luxgen (24-15). Yulon Luxgen managed to secure only two-point victory 82-80. However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ba Ban (203-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and the former international forward Yi-Hui Lin (193-86) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. American swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international guard Po-Sheng Chang (185-87) scored 11 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Yulon Luxgen maintains second position with 24-15 record having four points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the third place with 21 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will again play against Bank of Taiwan (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
