Regular Season Round 12: Fubon Braves - Pilots 82-97

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Fubon Braves (10-3) against second ranked Pilots on Sunday night. Pilots were defeated by second ranked Pilots (7-5) 97-82. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Pilots had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American guard Davon Reed (198-95, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Trinidad and Tobago forward Kadeem Jack (206-92, college: Rutgers) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks for the winners. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pilots maintains second position with 7-5 record having four points less than leader Fubon Braves. Fubon Braves at the other side still keep top place with three games lost. Pilots are looking forward to face Dreamers (#3) in Changhua City in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Fubon Braves will play on the road against Lioneers in Hsinchu and are hoping to win this game.
