Regular Season Round 9: Fubon Braves - Pilots 110-97

An interesting game for Fubon Braves (9-1) which played against second-best Pilots (5-4). First ranked Fubon Braves managed to get a 13-point victory 110-97. Fubon Braves players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and guard Joseph Lin (185-92, college: Hamilton) chipped in 27 points and 6 assists (perfect behind the arc making all seven shots !!!). The best for the losing side was American guard Davon Reed (198-95, college: Miami, FL) with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Trinidad and Tobago forward Kadeem Jack (206-92, college: Rutgers) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Four Fubon Braves and five Pilots players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fubon Braves have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Pilots at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. Fubon Braves will play against Dreamers (#3) in Changhua City in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pilots will play on the road against Lioneers in Hsinchu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
