Important game to mention about was the one when third ranked Jutai Techn. (6-10) saved a 3-point victory edging one of their biggest challengers Bank of Taiwan (6-11) 72-69 in the game for the third place. Jutai Techn. outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 51-37 including a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bank of Taiwan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Lan-Deng Bu (200-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 20 rebounds and forward Xiao-Jin Wu (190-95) who added 18 points during the contest. Four Jutai Techn. players scored in double figures. Swingman You-Xu Chen (195-90) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and forward Lin Zhi-wei (200-92) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Jutai Techn. maintains third position with 6-10 record having ten points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Jutai Techn. will play against league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's leader Taiwan Beer and hopes to get back on the winning track.
