Regular Season Round 8: Pauian - Taiwan Beer 64-77

No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Taiwan Beer (16-0) beat bottom-ranked Pauian (4-14) 77-64 on Friday. It was a great shooting night for Taiwan Beer especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The former international forward Tsung-Han Huang (193-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 assists. American forward JD Miller (203-96, college: TCU) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Center Dan Qiao (200-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Jun-Xiang Lu (188-97) added 19 points in the effort for Pauian. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Beer have an impressive 16-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-0 record. Loser Pauian stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost. Taiwan Beer will face Jutai Techn. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pauian will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and hope to win that game.
