Regular Season Round 47: LG Sakers - Seoul Knights 67-55
Date: March 29, 2026
An interesting game forSakers (35-16) which hosted in Changwon 3rd placed Knights (31-19). First ranked Sakers managed to get a 12-point victory 67-55 . It was a great evening for Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Daniel Edi (189-2007) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sakers have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 35-16 record. Seoul Knights at the other side keep the third position with 19 games lost. LG Sakers will play against Suwon KT (#7) in Busan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Seoul Knights will play at home against Daegu (#9) and hope to get back on the winning track.
