Very important is a home loss of second rankedAnyang (23-13) against ninth ranked Samsung Thunders (12-23) on Thursday night. Host Anyang was defeated by Samsung Thunders in a tough game in Anyang 76-85 . It was a great shooting night for Seoul Thunders especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Anyang was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-1993, college: LSU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and international guard Yuhyeon Moon (189-2004) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Seoul Thunders maintains ninth position with 12-23 record. Anyang at the other side keeps the second place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Wonju DB.
