An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Changwon. First rankedSakers faced 4th placed Wonju DB . Host Sakers (17-6) defeated guests from Wonju (13-10) 74-69 . It was a good game for Carl Tamayo who led his team to a victory with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) contributed with 6 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American center Henry Ellenson (208-1997, college: Marquette) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and the former international forward Hyo-Geun Jeong (200-1993) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wonju DB. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sakers . Defending champion maintains first place with 17-6 record. Wonju DB at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost.
