Very expected game in Daegu where 8th rankedSkygunners (8-15) were defeated by first ranked Sakers (15-6) 80-75 on Sunday. LG Sakers outrebounded Sono SG 43-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. LG Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) fired a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Carl Tamayo chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Nathan Knight (208-1997, college: William & Mary) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Filipino Kevin Quiambao (193-2001) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Skygunners' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-6 record. Sono SG lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 15 games lost.
