Very expected game in Seoul where 8th rankedKnights (5-7) were defeated by second ranked Sakers (8-3) 80-75 on Sunday. LG Sakers outrebounded Seoul Knights 35-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. chipped in 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Four LG Sakers and five Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains second position with 8-3 record having just one point less than leader Anyang. Loser Knights dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Mobis Phoebus.
