No shocking result in a game in Changwon where second rankedSakers (29-17) defeated 6th ranked Wonju DB (20-27) 81-68 on Thursday. LG Sakers forced 19 Wonju DB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Wonju DB 's players. Filipino forward Carl Tamayo (200-2001) stepped up and scored 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) chipped in 15 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 steals. American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) responded with 13 points and Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LG Sakers maintains second place with 29-17 record having ten points less than leader Seoul Knights. Defending champion Wonju DB keeps the sixth position with 27 games lost.
