Rather predictable result when third rankedSakers (21-13) defeated on the road 6th ranked Wonju DB (16-20) 76-61 on Saturday. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international swingman Kwang-Jae Lee (188-1984) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sakers have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. LG Sakers moved-up to second place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus. Wonju DB lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the sixth position with 20 games lost.
