No shocking result in a game when second rankedSkygunners (5-2) beat on the road bottom-ranked Wonju DB (1-6) 79-64 on Monday. Sono SG forced 21 Wonju DB turnovers and had a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American center Alan Williams (203-1993, college: UCSB) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Jeong-Hyeon Lee (187-1999) accounted for 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Skygunners' coach Byong-Chul Kim used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) came up with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Wonju DB in the defeat. Sono SG maintains second place with 5-2 record behind leader KoGas, which they share with Seoul Knights. Wonju DB lost sixth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. They share it with Seoul Thunders.
