KBL top team -Wonju DB (29-9) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Samsung Thunders (6-30) in Seoul 108-73 . Wonju DB shot 60.6 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Wonju DB players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Seoul Thunders ' players. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and guard Jongkyu Kim (184-1988) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and center Minseok Cha (199-2001) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wonju DB maintains first place with 29-9 record. Seoul Thunders lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 30 lost games.
