Eighth-rankedEgis (2-5) gave a tough game to first ranked Wonju DB (9-1) in Jeonju on Tuesday. The visitors from Wonju managed to secure only two-point victory 87-85 . However their fans expected much easier game. Wonju DB looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who added 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 20 rebounds and the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) scored 17 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Wonju DB maintains first position with 9-1 record. Egis lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with five games lost.
