Regular Season Round 6: Anyang - KCC Egis 74-72

The most exciting game of round 6 in the KBL took place in Anyang. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedEgis (2-2) to sixth ranked Anyang (4-3) 74-72 on Tuesday evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Anyang made 7 blocks. It was a good game for Filipino Rhenz Abando (188-1998) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 21 rebounds and the former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Egis. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus and LG Sakers. Egis at the other side keep the seventh position with two games lost.
