The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Seoul Knights' (32-19) home victory over 5th ranked Goyang (24-25) 88-73 on Wednesday. Seoul Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Goyang's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) supported him with 13 points and 12 assists. Four Seoul Knights players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 9 rebounds by American-Lebanese power forward Jonathan Arledge (207-1991, college: ODU, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Goyang. The former international Lee Jung-Hyun (190-1999) added 23 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Seoul Knights have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Goyang lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 25 games lost. Seoul Knights will meet at home KCC Egis (#6) in the next round. Goyang will play against Seoul Thunders and hope to secure a win.
