The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Wonju DB's (17-24) road loss to seventh ranked Suwon KT (19-25) 65-77 on Wednesday. Suwon KT outrebounded Wonju DB 41-28 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Suwon KT made 7 blocks. The former international center Yoongi Ha (203-1999) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hungarian-American power forward Jarrod Jones (207-1990, college: Ball St.) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. At the losing side American De'Jon Davis (201-1998, college: CBU) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) scored 14 points. Suwon KT moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KCC Egis. Wonju DB lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 24 games lost. Suwon KT will meet higher ranked Seoul Knights (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Wonju DB will play against Goyang (#5) and hope to secure a win.
