Regular Season Round 32: Anyang - LG Sakers 89-67

An interesting game for Anyang (32-10) which hosted in Anyang second-ranked LG Sakers (27-15). First ranked Anyang had an easy win 89-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of LG Sakers. Anyang made 21-of-21 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They outrebounded LG Sakers 47-30 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Anyang players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by LG Sakers' players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) who added 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Dante Cunningham (203-1987, college: Villanova) scored 10 points. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anyang have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 32-10 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the second place with 15 games lost. Anyang will play against Seoul Knights (#4) on the road in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Goyang and hope to get back on the winning track.
