Regular Season Round 15: Wonju DB - Goyang 91-82

An interesting game took place in Wonju where 4th placed Goyang (10-9) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Wonju DB (8-11) 91-82 on Tuesday. Wonju DB dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Goyang's 28. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Kyungmin Doo (184-1991) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. Forward Seung-Wook Choi (194-1993) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) added 34 points (!!!) respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Wonju DB moved-up to seventh place. Loser Goyang keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Wonju DB will meet higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Goyang will play against Seoul Knights and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
