Important game to mention about took place in Wonju. First ranked Anyang (9-3) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Wonju DB (6-4) 80-78 on Friday evening. Strangely Wonju DB outrebounded Anyang 54-30 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds and Filipino Rhenz Abando (188-1998) who added 20 points and 6 blocks during the contest. American power forward Dewan Hernandez (211-1997, college: Miami, FL) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and guard Ethan Albano (185-1996) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Anyang maintains first position with 9-3 record. Wonju DB at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Mobis Phoebus. Anyang will play against LG Sakers (#3) in Changwon in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Wonju DB will play on the road against the league's second-placed Goyang in Daegu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
