The game between closely ranked teams ended with Suwon KT's home victory over Seoul Thunders in Busan 85-83 on Thursday. Guard Seong-Woo Jeong (178-1993) notched 21 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Suwon KT players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) by American forward Marcus Derrickson (201-1996, college: Georgetown) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders. Forward Dong-Yeop Lee (194-1994) added 15 points and 5 assists for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Suwon KT will meet LG Sakers in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Thunders will play against KoGas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
