Regular Season Round 43: KT Sonicboom - KoGas 92-89

Sixth-ranked KoGas (25-26) made lots of trouble for second ranked KT Sonicboom (33-16) in Busan on Wednesday. KT Sonicboom managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected much easier game. KT Sonicboom outrebounded KoGas 40-19 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international center Yoongi Ha (203-1999) fired 7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. American power forward DJ White (206-1986, college: Indiana) produced 31 points and international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) added 20 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KT Sonicboom have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 33-16 record having six points less than leader SK Knights. KoGas at the other side keep the sixth position with 26 games lost. KT Sonicboom are looking forward to face league's leader SK Knights in Seoul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KoGas will play at home against Anyang KGC (#3) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
