Fifth-ranked Goyang Orions (22-25) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Anyang KGC (27-17) on Saturday. Anyang KGC managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected easier game. Anyang KGC made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Anyang KGC players scored in double figures. American forward Murphy Holloway (201-1990, college: Ole Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 22 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Dae-Sung Lee (192-1990, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anyang KGC have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 27-17 record. Goyang Orions at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 25 games lost. Anyang KGC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Goyang Orions will play at home against DB Promy (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
