Regular Season Round 27: Mobis Phoebus - Anyang KGC 77-73

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ulsan. Third ranked Mobis Phoebus faced 4th placed Anyang KGC. Host Mobis Phoebus (20-14) defeated guests from Anyang (19-13) 77-73. It was a great evening for American point guard Rashon Thomas (183, college: TAMUK) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Wooseok Lee helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Mobis Phoebus players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-86, college: GMU) with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists and international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-91) scored 22 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Mobis Phoebus. They maintain third place with 20-14 record having four points less than leader SK Knights. Defending champion Anyang KGC keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost. Mobis Phoebus will meet at home DB Promy (#6) in the next round. Anyang KGC will play against Goyang Orions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
