There was a small surprise in Wonju where seventh ranked DB Promy (11-12) smashed 5th ranked Goyang Orions (11-12) 78-58 on Saturday. DB Promy outrebounded Goyang Orions 48-32 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Johnny OBryant III (207-93, college: LSU) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international forward SangJae Kang (202-94) chipped in 5 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Ole Miss) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-92) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. DB Promy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus and Goyang Orions. Goyang Orions lost fourth consecutive game. DB Promy will meet at home league's second-placed SK Knights in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Goyang Orions will play against Mobis Phoebus and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
